Location: The Taiga biome can be found in can be found in the Northern Hemisphere. Taiga may be found in the areas of Canada, Scandinavia, Russia, and the United States. Taiga is a cold place, so that means that it is far away from the equator.

The Taiga has two seasons; winter and summer. Precipitation comes in forms of rain, snow, and dew. The winter's average precipitation is 50 to 101 centimeters and is very snowy. The summer's average precipitation is between 25 and 50 centimeters. It normally comes in the form of rain. The average temperature of winter in the Taiga is -25 degrees Celsius. The average temperature of summer in the Taiga is 18 degrees Celsius. Some variations between the North American, Scandinavian, and Siberian Taiga are the types of trees. In North American Taiga, fir and spruce trees are dominant. In Scandinavian and Siberian Taiga, Scot's pine tree is dominant.
